Questions
Question about the product
Julz Baker on 2023-05-31 00:35:35 | Question:
What are the exterior mineral paints made from? I want to ensure it’s a natural product. Kind regards Julz |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Keim Royalan is a mineral silicate paint, the ingredients that make up the product can be found in the Safety Data Sheet. This is available to download and view from the datasheets tab on the product page.
Deborah on 2023-05-09 18:45:29 | Question:
i have exterior brick walls with lime mortar which has been previously painted with sandtex - i am repointing now - and want to repaint - which of your paints would you reccomend ? |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Once all loose and flaking has been removed and any surface contaminants have been washed off and the surface is wind dry. You will need to first coat all bare lime mortar areas with Keim Royalan Dilution due to the porosity, we would then recommend going with a two coat system with Keim Soldalit Grob followed by a neat coat of Keim Royalan in the chosen colour (if it is a dark colour we would recommend a second coat of Keim Royalan.) With a minimum period of 12 hours between each coats.
