Keim Concretal-MR 2.0 (Keim Concrete Repair Mortar) is a cementitious repair mortar designed for quick repair work to concrete surfaces. A single component, polymer modified, cement bound mortar, to be mixed with water.

Description

Keim Concretal-MR 2.0 (Keim Concrete Repair Mortar) is a cementitious repair mortar designed for quick repair work to concrete surfaces. Keim Concrete Repair Mortar is used for restoration of spalling and decayed concrete. The mixed mortar hardens rapidly without shrinkage or cracking. Keim Concrete Repair Mortar can be used on its own or as part of the Keim Concrete Repair System.

Preparation & Application


Substrate Preparation
Remove loose material and old coats mechanically or with a water pressure jet.

Application
Mix one 25kg bag of KEIM Concrete Repair Mortar with 3.6lt of clean water for at least four minutes using a mechanical mixer until the mix is the consistency of moist earth. Materials can then be applied by trowel onto a pre-wetted surface and struck off to the required finish. KEIM Concrete Repair Mortar can be over-coated with KEIM Fine Finishing Mortar if required. May be applied in thicknesses from 0.5-50mm.

Setting Time
1 day per 1mm layer thickness.

Application Conditions
Ambient and substrate temperature above 5°C and below 30°C. Do not apply in direct sunlight or onto sun-heated surfaces, nor if it is raining or if there is an immediate likelihood of rain.

Consumption
Approximately 10kg/m² for 5mm thick repair. The stated consumption values are for guidance and depend on the nature of the substrate and the application method. Exact consumption values can only be determined by trials on the substrate.

Clean tools with water immediately after use.

RE Keim Concretal-MR 2.0 (Concrete Repair Mortar) Reference KEI1040 Brand Keim Search ID KEI3431 Please could you let me know if the Keim Concretal is available in different colours? If not, what colour is this concrete? Or is it possible to add a colour? Thanks for your help Tessa Gogol

Keim Concretal-MR 2.0 (Concrete Repair Mortar) is a mid-grey and only comes in that set standard colour which we wouldn’t recommend colouring.
