PPG Sigma EP 111 Primer, a two-component general-purpose epoxy primer or buildcoat in protective coating systems, for steel and concrete structures in atmospheric exposure. The high solids polyamide cured recoatable zinc phosphate epoxy primer can be recoated with various two-component and conventional coatings, even after long weathering periods.
- Approved Network Rail RT 98 and registered as Highway Agency item 111
- Free from lead- and chromate-containing pigments
- Excellent rust preventing properties in industrial or coastal atmospheres
- Tough with long term flexibility
- Easy application, both by airless spray and brush, with excellent adhesion to steel and concrete
- VOC compliant
- 4 hours pot life (at 20°C (68°F))
- Cures at temperatures down to -5°C (23°F); Touch dry after 4 hours; recoat after 8 hours - refer below for more application and drying information
