Tor Hi Build Zinc Phosphate Primer is a single pack high build primer for blast/manually cleaned steel. This excellent anticorrosive, which is lead and chromate free, has good coverage and is hard dry in 16 hours, ready for overcoating.

Surface Preparation
Grit Blasting:
Blast clean to BS4272 2nd Quality (Swedish equivalent Sa 2.5) with maximum profile of 75 microns.
Manual Cleaning:
Acceptable standard is Swedish ST2. Avoid excessive burnishing.
Remove all dust before painting.

No, this primer is recommend for use on metals, assuming the timber is clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the Technical Data Sheet we can recommend Zinsser Cover Stain to prime timber. | |
