ColourPicker Explained

In general we sort colours for products into 2 main groups - ‘Ready Mixed’ and ‘Tinted’.
Tinted colours will always be more expensive than Ready Mixed colours as they need to be produced at the time of order using a tinting machine dispensing colourant into a base*.
During busy periods, this means that tinted colours could take longer, for example – a ready mixed colour ordered on a 3-5 day delivery might arrive within 3 days, however a tinted colour might take the full 5 days to arrive.

To find Ready Mixed colours, search "ready mixed" or select the Ready Mixed 'colour chart'. To see Tinted colours select a colour chart such as RAL, BS, NCS, etc. or search for a colour/hue to see available or related options.

To ensure fair pricing, we split colours into ‘Price Bands’ to group together similar priced colours. If you wish to search for the cheapest tinted colours, always select Price Band 1.

Colour reproduction of the Products on the Site is limited by the technology used to deliver web pages and by the colour representation of Customer’s own monitor and computer set-up. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our Products but we cannot guarantee that the colour shown on Customer’s monitor’s display will accurately reflect the colour of the Product on delivery. We recommend that Customer first purchases the smallest Product available or access an industry standard colour chart in person (and not digitally) to ensure that the colour is acceptable for its purposes.

Description

Use PermaStripe Die-Cut Shapes with PermaStripe Rolls to create a complete line marking solution for warehouse and factory floors. Helping to achieve 5S Visual Management optimisation, PermaStripe improves workflow, safety and productivity with clearly marked bays and walkways, and is quick to install.

The system has been used to great effect in warehouses with continuous production that cannot afford the time to mark off and exclude areas for drying, or that work with products that could be tainted or contaiminated by solvents and smells from paints and resins. PermaStripe allows much quicker installation, working around the business rather than interupting, and allows areas to be used immediately after application.

The strength and durability of PermaStripe has seen it being used in aircraft hangars with heavy machinery, and logistics centres with lots of foot and vehicle traffic, without the need for replacement. Removal is possible and due to the thickness and extreme strength of PermaStripe, it will not snap when removed. This allows for easy 5S Visual Management changes in the workplace, unlike resin or painted lines.

A versatile system, PermaStripe Boot Shapes have been seen used in Airport Security Trays by flight security agencies, providing a clear indication and guidance for where passengers place their footwear, speeding up queues. The polypropylene (PP) trays are normally difficult to stick to, but PermaStripe adheres perfectly. The boot markers are durable, lasting longer than painted shapes and stencils, and are quick to apply.

PermaStripe is available in 2 finishes; Standard has an embossed, anti-slip surface, whilst Smooth has no anti-slip surface and is designed for easier cleaning, leaving no areas for bacteria to harbour, for particular use in businesses with strict hygiene standards.

Permastripe is available in many different shapes, including the full alphabet and digits, resulting in neat joins for a more aesthetically-pleasing line marking system. The shapes work in conjunction with:

PermaStripe & PermaRoute; What’s the Difference?

Both products are designed to withstand testing warehouse and industrial environments, with subtle differences between them.

PermaStripe

A solid, homogenous piece of virgin plastic, PermaStripe is 1mm thick and extremely tough. The edges are feathered (sloped/curved) so that the material isn't a trip hazard, and the surface can be finished completely smooth for easier cleaning, or with a mild, non-slip emboss.

The solid homogenous construction ensures colours will not fade or be scratched off, or removed by harsh solvents such as MEK, toluene, etc. The thick plastic is hard to remove due to its strong adhesion, but removal is possible should line marking need to be altered.

PermaRoute

Perfectly flat, PermaRoute can be produced in much wider widths to create fully coloured walkways if needed, and the flat structure helps durability should vehciles need to turn on the material.

Made in 3 parts, the printed design is fully protected by a laminate with a mild non-slip emboss, with strong adhesive underneath. This construction allows printed logos and designs to be used.
