• Suitable for wall and ceiling surfaces in most normal interior situations. Ideal for use in schools, hotels, restaurants, canteens and bakeries where its low odour qualities combined with speed of drying enables work to be completed with minimum disruption.
• For interior use only
• Not suitable for areas subjected to heavy condensation.
• Do not apply when the air or substrate temperatures are likely to fall below 8°C or when the relative humidity is above 80% during application or the drying period.

Spreading Rate

Up to 15 square metres/litre per coat depending on the nature and porosity of the surface. Strong or contrasting colours may require additional coats. When using more than one tin of colour in the same room, intermix before use.

Drying Time

• Touch dry in 1-2 hours.
• Recoatable after 2-4 hours.

Shelf Life

Up to 12 months if stored correctly in an unopened container.

Preparation

All surfaces must be painted should be clean, dry and free from loose and flaking material. Prime bare surfaces with the appropriate Britannia Primer.

Rub down previously gloss painted surfaces with fine waterproof abrasive paper and rinse thoroughly. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960’s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead. Application

Stir well before use.

Easy to apply by brush or roller. Also suitable for application by spray (see below). If more than one can of colour is to be used in the same area, intermix before use. Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. Do not apply in temperatures below 10˚C or in damp conditions.

Spray & Thinning Application

Airless spray:

• Un-thinned: Spray @ 3000 PSI / 207 bar with 527 tip.
• Thinned: 1 part clean water to 10 parts paint spray @2500 PSI /172 bar with 527 tip.

Cleaning

Remove as much product as possible from application equipment before cleaning. Replace lid firmly. Clean equipment immediately after use with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Some local authorities have special facilities for the disposal of waste coatings. Do not empty product into drains or watercourses.
