Lacq Energol is a versatile wood protector for all outdoor wood surfaces. The combination of wood oil and linseed oil provides optimum results. Energol nourishes the wood from within and provides long-lasting protection.

Due to the unique composition of raw materials, Energol remains flexible for a long time, allowing the product to flex with the surface of the wood.

The main constituent of Energol is natural linseed oil. The oil is absorbed by the wood and nourishes it from within. After several coats have been applied, Energol leaves a protective film on the wood surface. Wood is then durably protected from the weather, including sunlight and rain. The protective coat breathes and stays elastic.

Lacq Energol provides a transparent semi-gloss coat on wood. The natural grain remains visible and Energol prevents the wood from turning grey.

Sanding before application is not necessary before application on untreated wood. The surface should be checked for anything loose and/or damaged, which should be removed if necessary.

Just two coats of Energol are enough to provide protection, but for a semi-gloss finish a third coat is recommended.

Available in 6 modern woodstains, in a durable semi-gloss finish.

Features & Benefits

Substrate Requirements

• Surface should be dry, dust-free and grease-free
• Remove any loose and defective parts
• Sanding is not necessary, only when a smooth finish is required
• Weathered wood should be treated in advance with a wood colour renovator

Coverage

• Approximately 12m² per litre

Application

• Stir well and apply in the direction of the grain with a flat paint brush
• Roller or spray can be used for larger surfaces
• Second layer can only be applied after complete drying of the first coat of approx. 16 hours
• Three coats are recommended on untreated timber
• After reaching the desired depth of colour in the first or second layer, Energol natural may be used to finish for maximum protection
• Two coats are enough to provide protection, but for a semi-gloss finish a third coat is recommended

Cleaning

• Clean tools with white spirit
