RSL Oil Remover is an aqueous cleaner designed for use on floors, walls and other hard surfaces. It rapidly releases heavy oils, hydrocarbons and ground-in dirt from surfaces such as concrete, brick and breezeblock.

Can be used to deep clean floor surfaces prior to the application of coatings, seals and other finishes. Also used to remove slip hazards following leaks and spills.

Application Rates and Methods

R.S. Oil Remover is supplied ready to use.

Manual

Sweep floor to remove debris. Apply liberally to the area to be cleaned either manually or with a back pack spray system, work well into the surface with a stiff brush and leave for 20 to 60 minutes. Rinse the area well with a pressure wash or hose, collect the rinse water with a wet-vac machine.

Once the surface oil contamination has been removed, clean floor thoroughly with RSL Industrial Floor Cleaner. Refer to dilution and cleaning methods set out in the RSL Industrial Floor Cleaner Product Datasheet, found in the data sheets tab further above.

Estimated Coverage

1 litre of RSL Oil Remover will treat an area of between 1—2 m². This is dependant on the level of soiling and more stubborn deposits may require more RSL Oil Remover to completely remove them.

Storage and Handling

Shelf Life (unopened containers) : 12 Months

Protect against frost. Where product has been stored in cold temperatures, leave to reach ambient temperature prior to use. Handle in accordance with good industrial practise; no special precautions required with product alone. PPE should be worn in accordance with guidelines set out on the MSDS/safety data sheet, which can be found in the "data sheets" tab towards the top of the page.

Disposal

Contaminated product and/or rinse water should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations. For more information please refer to the Product MSDS.

Health and Safety

R.S. Oil Remover should not cause any health and safety issues, when used in accordance with the recommended instructions. R.S. Oil Remover can cause eye irritation so appropriate PPE should be worn during application. For more information please refer to the Product MSDS.
