Questions
Question about the product
Mark on 2023-10-27 21:26:44 | Question:
This paint comes up when I search for heat resistant paints, but the description and datasheet do not mention that the paint is heat resistant. What temperature is it suitable for? I am looking for a white paint to paint wood in the vicinity of a wood burning stove. I think a maximum temperature of 100'C is probably enough. The existing paint is somewhat darkened. |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Assuming you have prepared the substrate in accordance with the technical datasheet, you could consider this product providing the temperature doesn't exceed around 90°C maximum. Anything above this it would not be suitable.
David B on 2023-10-06 15:40:52 | Question:
Would it be suitable to paint a fibreglass motorhome roof? |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Assuming the Fibreglass GRP is not subject to pooling water, and the roof design allows for easy and ready water run-off, this product will be suitable for this type of application.

Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Yes this product can be applied to upvc surfaces that are clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet both inside or out.

Gillian O'Brien on 2022-11-23 10:34:57 | Question:
Is this suitable to touch up a rusty part on a storage heater, what temperature can it be used up to? |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
This product can resist up temperatures upto 70°C and it can be applied directly to metals such as steel assuming the rust is removed, the storage heaters are clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet. We would recommend consulting the manufacturer of the storage heater to confirm that they do not reach a temperature of 70°C.
