Osmo Polyx-Oil Anti-Slip, ideal for wooden flooring in indoor areas for which higher slip resistance is required, such as solid wood, plank, strip, OSB and cork flooring in commercial and public interiors. Samples available seperately.

Polyx-Oil Anti-Slip uniquely combines the advantages of natural oils and waxes in one product.

It is stain-resistant, water-repellent and abrasion-resistant. In comparison to conventional finishes, the use of plant ingredients creates a more even colour and more harmonious appearance.

• Product coverage depends significantly on the character of the wood. All information refers to smooth and planed/cut surfaces. Other surfaces may lead to reduced coverage.

Notes

• For exotic hardwood species, use Osmo Wood Wax Finish Extra Thin (not classed as anti-slip) .
• Clear oils can darken the appearance of the wood. Trial application recommended first.
• Recommended application amount is 35ml/m²
• Application of second coat can be carried out as soon as the first coat has dried. Ensure plenty of ventilation for drying.
• A base coat of Osmo Wood Protector is recommended for use in bathrooms or kitchens.
• Using 1 x coat of a coloured Osmo finish (eg: Polyx Tints or Wood Wax Finish) beneath the Ant-Slip product is possible however, only 1 x coat of the Anti-Slip should be applied over the colour. Applying too much product could lead to the wood becoming saturated and a more slippery surface.
• Having 1 x top coat of the Anti-Slip product may not achieve the full R9 or R11 anti-slip properties.
