Features & Benefits
- For professional use only
- Two-component polyamide adduct cured, high build epoxy paint
- Combines a relatively high volume solids content with a short drying time
- High load of MIO-pigment
- Intermediate or finishing coat for epoxy systems in atmospheric exposure
- Service temperature: up to 140°C (dry exposure)
- For new build, maintenance and repair
- Apply with brush/roller or airless spray. Nozzle pressure: 225 bar [3300 psi] Nozzle orifice: 0.019-0.021"
If brush or roller application is used, more coats will be necessary to achieve the specified dry film thickness. Spray data are indicative and subject to adjustment. Pressure is for a material temperature of 20°C
Product may be specified in another film thickness than indicated depending on purpose and area of use. This will alter spreading rate, drying and curing time and overcoating interval. For best performance, avoid excessive film thickness.
Epoxy coats have an inherent tendency of chalking in outdoor exposure. This does not affect the performance of the coating.
Overcoating
Hempel’s specification supersedes any guidelines indicated in the overcoating table. Overcoating times are indicative for products of the same generic chemistry.
- Previous coat: According to Hempel’s Specification. Recommended products are: Hempadur ZP 47940
