Resimac 102 Metal Repair Fluid
This two-component solvent-free epoxy repair fluid is designed to resurface and protect metallic surfaces. It offers excellent mechanical adhesion and chemical resistance, making it ideal for demanding industrial environments. Mixed as a mid-grey fluid, the product creates a durable layer resistant to wear, corrosion, and heat.
Applications
Suitable for use on a wide range of metallic substrates, this product is effective for:
- Repairing damaged hulls and shafts
- Sealing leaking tank seams
- Fixing pitted or scarred surfaces caused by corrosion
- Creating anti-slip finishes for steps, belt rollers, and brake test rollers
It performs well in high-temperature environments, offering resistance up to 200°C in dry conditions and up to 60°C when submerged.

Application Instructions
For optimal results, follow these preparation and application steps:
Surface Preparation
- Remove all grease, oil, and debris using an appropriate cleaner like MEK.
- Abrade surfaces mechanically or via abrasive blasting to achieve a minimum profile of 75 microns.
- Ensure the surface is clean and free of oxidation before coating.
Mixing and Application
- Mix the base and activator components thoroughly until a uniform grey mixture is achieved.
- Apply the product with a spatula or brush within 30 minutes of mixing.
- For anti-slip finishes, broadcast aluminium oxide aggregates onto the wet surface.
Do not apply to surfaces that are not properly prepared. Refer to the data sheet for complete instructions.
