Available in a silver grey finish, it offers a semi-matt look that is suitable for a wide range of wooden surfaces.

Usage

Designed primarily for timber, especially those with high resin content, this primer is easy to apply with a brush and ensures excellent adhesion to the wood surface. It is formulated to resist the common issues of resin stains and topcoat blistering, delivering a consistent, smooth finish. Whether you are working on new or weathered wood, this primer offers effective protection.

Application Process

• Ensure that the surface is clean, dry, and free from contaminants.
• Mix well before use and apply directly to the wood using a brush.
• Sand new wood prior to application to create a suitable key for the primer.
• For best results, follow up with a conventional white spirit-based topcoat after the primer has dried.
• Drying time is typically 16 hours at 20°C, and it is recommended to apply subsequent coats after this time.

Note that this product should not be used in confined spaces without adequate ventilation. The product’s flammable nature also necessitates proper storage away from heat sources.

Restrictions and Limitations

It is important to avoid using this primer on materials other than wood, as it is specially formulated for timber. Additionally, avoid spraying the product as it may produce hazardous respirable droplets.
