Suitable for use on various types of wood, including mahogany and teak, this product ensures a water-resistant seal that protects the wood while maintaining its aesthetic appeal. Its slight gloss finish provides a refined look, perfect for garden furniture, kitchen worktops, and doors. The oil is quick to apply with a brush or cloth, drying efficiently to leave a long-lasting finish.
Application Instructions
Ensure that all surfaces are clean, dry, and free of contaminants such as oil, grease, and wax before applying the oil. Use sandpaper to remove old coatings and paints if necessary. Danish Oil is applied in thin, even layers with a brush or lint-free cloth. After application, allow at least 12 hours before recoating to ensure full absorption into the wood. Full hardness is achieved within 5 to 7 days. Avoid applying in low temperatures or high humidity, as these conditions can affect the drying and performance of the oil.
