ColourPicker Explained

In general we sort colours for products into 2 main groups - ‘Ready Mixed’ and ‘Tinted’.
Tinted colours will always be more expensive than Ready Mixed colours as they need to be produced at the time of order using a tinting machine dispensing colourant into a base*.
During busy periods, this means that tinted colours could take longer, for example – a ready mixed colour ordered on a 3-5 day delivery might arrive within 3 days, however a tinted colour might take the full 5 days to arrive.

To find Ready Mixed colours, search "ready mixed" or select the Ready Mixed 'colour chart'. To see Tinted colours select a colour chart such as RAL, BS, NCS, etc. or search for a colour/hue to see available or related options.

To ensure fair pricing, we split colours into ‘Price Bands’ to group together similar priced colours. If you wish to search for the cheapest tinted colours, always select Price Band 1.

*Colours are sold in the nearest tin size but actual paint volume per tin may vary up to 10% depending on colour

Colour reproduction of the Products on the Site is limited by the technology used to deliver web pages and by the colour representation of Customer’s own monitor and computer set-up. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our Products but we cannot guarantee that the colour shown on Customer’s monitor’s display will accurately reflect the colour of the Product on delivery. We recommend that Customer first purchases the smallest Product available or access an industry standard colour chart in person (and not digitally) to ensure that the colour is acceptable for its purposes.

Proofex LM Mesh

Mesh for use between layers of Proofex LM
In areas with extreme loadings (covings, edges and pipe penetrations) Proofex LM has to be applied twice. The use of a Proofex LM Mesh allowing 10mm overlaps between the first and the second coats is recommended

Proofex Engage Detail Strip

A reinforced, double sided waterproof adhesive tape for sealingand jointing roll ends, cut edges and corner pieces
Consists of a strong synthetic fibre fabric impregnated and coated both sides with a rubber bitumen adhesive, which is protected by a removable siliconised paper

Proofex Protection Board

Bitumen impregnated board, designed to protect membranes from damage through backfilling and trafficking

Proofex Top Hat

Waterproof pipe entry consisting of polyethylene / polypropylene membrane, which includes an aluminium foil layer
Used for penetrations in the membrane
Available in 110mm and 160mm sizes

Proofex Corner Pieces

Corner pieces made from polyethylene membrane with a 100 mm butyl selvedge

Strips fixed at all floor and wall junctions with a 6mm bead of Nitoseal MB175

Foil tape used for sealing around column penetrations and for repairs/patching of membranes damaged during installation

Double-sided butyl tape for sealing of side and end laps and for use in detailing work

Proofex L Section

Section of polyethylene with 2 butyl selvedge strips
Used by bending at 90° along its length for application between horizontal and vertical membrane to provide waterproofing continuity and also connects with internal and external corner pieces
Supplied with a butyl “closure” strip at each end, if the “L” section is cut this strip must be replaced with Proofex Engage Detail Strip or Total Tape
