John Allum on 2023-10-27 23:00:15 | Question:
I have had two coating of your product applied to my flat roof - three years apart but the surface flakes off, the second time after only three months. Please can advise if there is a known problem with your product being applied to a surface where water gathers (due to a dip in the roof) and where it remains covered in water for some period of time. |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Thank you for your enquiry, we have contacted you directly via e-mail.
Jose Gomes on 2023-04-16 13:06:48 | Question:
Dear Sirs Is this product fibre free and can I use it as a topcoat on glass fibre roof I have been recommended on the past but the Cromapol had fibre with it and made it difficult to apply, however I find that last long time. Reason I decided to do this was because the original glass fibre topcoat vanished away in certain areas, therefore I decided to do just that but the fibre mixed with the chromapol was pretty anoying. But on the indications in the literature of this article indicates that this is Cromar Cromapol Acrylic Roof Coating - Fiber Free Please let me know your recommendations Kind regards Joe Gomes |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Assuming the fibreglass roof is clean, dry, sound, with any loose or flaking material removed and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet this product could be used.
david tannahill on 2022-03-25 10:56:13 | Question:
is cromapol acrylic paint the best solar reflective paint for edpm rubber roofs |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Assuming the EPDM roof is clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet we can recommend GacoPro Roof Coating. This is available in white or grey and can be applied directly to EPDM.
