Description

Rust-Oleum Chalkboard Paint

Transform your walls, furniture, and other surfaces into writable chalkboards with this versatile chalkboard paint. Available in black, this paint is perfect for adding a functional and creative touch to any space.

Features

  • Multi-Surface Compatible: Can be applied on wood, metal, plastic, paper, and more. Always test on a small area first to check adhesion and compatibility.
  • Quick-Drying: Dries to touch within 30-60 minutes under optimal conditions (15°C with good ventilation).
  • Easy Preparation: Lightly abrade previously painted surfaces to provide a key. Prime bare metal and wood before painting.
  • Simple Cleanup: Clean brushes immediately after use with water.

Application Instructions

Stir the paint well before use and apply with a soft brush using light, even strokes to avoid runs. Ensure the temperature is between 10-32°C and humidity is below 85% for proper drying. Two coats are required, with at least 2 hours between coats. When fully dry (24 hours), prepare the surface for use by rubbing the side of a chalk piece over the entire area, then erase.

Usage Recommendations

  • Do Not apply on surfaces not suitable for chalkboard paint without proper priming.
  • Do Not use on surfaces exposed to high humidity or temperature fluctuations without adequate drying time.
  • Always refer to the downloadable data sheet for comprehensive application and safety information.
