ColourPicker Explained

In general we sort colours for products into 2 main groups - ‘Ready Mixed’ and ‘Tinted’.
Tinted colours will always be more expensive than Ready Mixed colours as they need to be produced at the time of order using a tinting machine dispensing colourant into a base*.
During busy periods, this means that tinted colours could take longer, for example – a ready mixed colour ordered on a 3-5 day delivery might arrive within 3 days, however a tinted colour might take the full 5 days to arrive.

To find Ready Mixed colours, search "ready mixed" or select the Ready Mixed 'colour chart'. To see Tinted colours select a colour chart such as RAL, BS, NCS, etc. or search for a colour/hue to see available or related options.

To ensure fair pricing, we split colours into ‘Price Bands’ to group together similar priced colours. If you wish to search for the cheapest tinted colours, always select Price Band 1.

*Colours are sold in the nearest tin size but actual paint volume per tin may vary up to 10% depending on colour

Colour reproduction of the Products on the Site is limited by the technology used to deliver web pages and by the colour representation of Customer’s own monitor and computer set-up. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our Products but we cannot guarantee that the colour shown on Customer’s monitor’s display will accurately reflect the colour of the Product on delivery. We recommend that Customer first purchases the smallest Product available or access an industry standard colour chart in person (and not digitally) to ensure that the colour is acceptable for its purposes.

Application Notes

Thoroughly drain the contents of the hardener component into the coloured base component and mix for a minimum of 1 minute or until a homogeneous mix is obtained
Add the full contents of the aggregate bag slowly and mix for a further 1-2 minutes until a lump free consistency is obtained
Apply using a medium nap roller directly from a paint tray or scuttle
Push the coating well into the surface, make sure it is fully wetted out then pull back to a tight coat with the roller
Inconsistent application thickness will result in an uneven finish and appearance. It is always preferable to apply two thin coats rather than one heavy coat
Coverage rate 15m2 per 3 kg pack per coat (DFT per coat ~140 microns)
Regular cleaning is essential to enhance and maintain the life expectancy, slip resistance and appearance of the floor. Cured product can be easily cleaned using industry standard cleaning chemicals and techniques

Limitations

Do not proceed with application if atmospheric relative humidity is, or is anticipated to be, >90% or if the surface temperature is <3ºC above the dew point. Application should not commence when the substrate temperature or the ambient temperature is, or is anticipated to be, <5ºC during the application or within the tack-free period
The manufacture of Fosroc Nitoflor HB300 U is a batch process and despite close manufacturing tolerances, colour variation may occur between batches. Using Nitoflor HB300 U from a single batch as the final finish in one area section is recommended
Product is not colour fast and may yellow over time. The rate of change will depend on UV light and heat levels and cannot be predicted. This will be more pronounced with lighter colours and blue shades and does not compromise the product’s performance or chemical resistance characteristics
