Questions
Question about the product
Steve Long on 2023-01-24 11:13:01 | Question:
Will this be ok to use on the Epoxy resin rudder of my dinghy? |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Unfortunately no this would not be suitable. Assuming the dinghy's resin coated rudder is clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet we can recommend Teamac High Performance 2 Pack Zinc Phosphate Primer followed by Teamac High Performance Polyurethane Topcoat. This can be mixed to many RAL, NCS or BS colours in a gloss finish. Please note these products are for professional use only.
Robert Graham on 2022-04-07 11:57:22 | Question:
Hi will it go onto Conti-board like a lot of wardrobes are made from. Regards Bob |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
We believe Conti-board is normally laminated which doesn’t tend to take spray paint very well without prior preparation. If the area to be painted is lightly sanded initially then wiped down with a damp cloth to remove all dust, then there should be no issue with spraying with Maston Spraypaint Zero Colours. Don’t use any chemicals to wipe the surface once sanded as this could affect the paint finish.
