Questions
Question about the product
Jon Francis on 2023-09-12 15:58:10 | Question:
Hi, Can the 204 Fine Crack Repair be over painted with an epoxy floor paint with no or minimal abrading ? Thanks Jon |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
This product is normally applied to the concrete prior to the grinding process. Once the floor has been prepared by grinding it can be over painted.
Anne Cupples on 2019-05-07 11:22:19 | Question:
We have a drive in Creteprint and we have a small amount of damage the colour is black. Do you do a epoxy resin repair in a colour black. |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Depending on the nature of the repair we could offer either 201 Epoxy Repair Mortar for larger surface repairs or 204 Fine Crack Repair will work well for smaller holes where the surface has blown. It will be up to you to decide whether a pourable resin or trowelable mortar would best fit for your repairs unless you can provide more information/images to our Technical Team. Both of these materials can be supplied in black (special order) but it’s unlikely that either will match what’s already down so you will have to take that into consideration.
Julia Boston on 2018-09-04 18:24:18 | Question:
Can the Fine Crack Repair resin be smoothed off before it dries? I have a concrete step that I want to make good, so I need to be able to get a smooth finish. Thanks |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Apply the 204 Fine Crack Repair by gravity feed or by gunning or pumping into cracks. For filling voids and craters, simply fill by pouring. Once the resin has cured it can be ground down to level, or topped up if the level sinks.
Bryce on 2015-08-12 11:31:53 | Question:
Is 204 Fine Crack Repair only available in the colour amber? |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Yes it is, but the Rust-Oleum Epoxyshield Fine Crack Repair is available in grey which is a similar product.
