Watco Concrex Asphalt Repair is a new type of product for filling holes in asphalt and concrete floors. The epoxy resin formulation is much stronger and longer lasting than traditional bitumen based products. Its strength allows for thinner repairs than conventional products and it is ideal for heavily trafficked areas.
Watco Concrex Asphalt Repair has good general resistance to many chemicals commonly found in industry. For advice regarding other chemicals, contact our technical team on 0113 2455450 (option 2) or send a message to [email protected].

Surface Preparation
Ensure the void to be filled is clean, dry (slight damp is acceptable) and sound.
Mixing
Mixing is easier on a board, but it can be done in the plastic container provided.
Empty the contents of the smaller Curing Agent tin into the larger Resin tin and mix thoroughly using a palette knife or similar wide bladed tool.
Immediately empty the mixed components onto the granite aggregate.
Mix using a trowel to achieve a loose textured black compound.
Ensure that the dry aggregate is thoroughly coated.
Application
Tip the mixed product into the void and work into any gaps and crevices with a trowel.
Lightly tamp down with a piece of wood, compacting the product to remove air pockets.
Finish with a trowel wiped with white spirit for a smooth finish.

Questions
Question about the product
Nigel on 2024-07-08 12:20:01 | Question:
Can this product be used to fill expansion joints in a concrete floor (30mm joints) is there enough movement in the product. |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Although this product could be used in this scenario, and provide a slight amount of flexibility (although no movement in the floor), we wouldn't recommend to use in this type of application. Assuming the concrete is clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical datasheet, an alternative you could consider is Watco Flexible Joint Repair. This product will provide more flexibility to cope with movement. | |
