Surface Preparation
Watco Trafficline can be applied to asphalt, tarmac, porous concrete, masonry, bricks and breeze blocks. Ensure the surface is clean, sound and dry (slightly damp is acceptable). Watco Bio-D is a solvent free degreaser which can be used on asphalt and similar surfaces. Watco Trafficline can be applied to existing paint providing all poorly bonded material is removed and glossy surfaces are sanded.
Application
Apply Watco Trafficline by brush. Avoid applying too thickly. Do not apply if rain or frost are forecast or if the temperature is below 10°C. One coat is sufficient on most surfaces. If a second coat is required re-apply once the first coat has dried, usually around 6 hours at 20°C.
Limitations
Food products must be removed from the area during application and curing. Watco Trafficline will not bind or fill weak or defective asphalt surfaces. Do not apply in areas which will constantly be under water.
