Questions
Question about the product
steven yardley on 2019-10-09 11:22:19 | Question:
Does the Jotun penguard pro conform to IM.3 ISO 12944-5 can you please advise this or recommend the paint that you supply that does, we're hopefully looking for a 1 coat system to save time, we have been asked by our client to paint steel bracers which will be surrounded in soil |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
To achieve IM3 in one coat Jotun Penguard Pro would need applied at 600 microns Dry Film Thickness, however Penguard Pro can only achieve a maximum film thickness of 500 microns DFT in one application. Therfore you would instead have to apply 2 coats of 300 microns DFT per coat to acheive the overall 600 microns DFT required. | |
