How to paint mild steel to make it look galvanised - buy zinc-rich/cold galvanised paints from Rawlins Paints. Priming substrates suitably before overcoating with a suitable topcoat greatly improves adhesion, protection, longevity and coverage.
Our zinc-rich/cold galvanising paints are ideal for application to damaged galvanised steel, whether on-site or spot repairs, or to mild-steel. When on-site accidents happen - forklifts and vehicles hitting installed galvanised materials, cuts, welds, drilling, knocks, and crane incidents whilst constructing - damaged areas of already galvanised steel or non-galvanised sections of steel can be given a galvanised appearance and similar protection. Ideal where similar protection to galvanising is required but hot dip galvanising cannot be carried out.
