Question about the product
dave h on 2018-01-29 17:08:56 | Question:
How to get marker pen graffiti off upvc |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Some Plastics are not compatible with even the gentlest of cleaners, so it is essential to carry out a ‘small discrete trial application’ prior to any use on these materials to see if removal can be carried out successfully & without any long term damage to, or change in, surface appearance. It is entirely the responsibility of the user to determine both the initial suitability and then the appropriate dwell times for Graffiti Magic Multi Surface Graffiti Remover for their particular use. On Plastics or Coated Surfaces Test for ‘dwell’ time (the amount of time the remover takes to work). Apply the product to a small area of graffiti. Using a clean cloth check a part of this area every few minutes. When the graffiti is loose and lifting clean off the surface this is your ‘dwell time’. Wipe off completely and rinse well with clean water. Check to ensure no surface damage has occurred. If sucessful, apply Graffiti Magic Multi Surface Graffiti Remover liberally over the area to be cleaned using a brush and allow to dwell for the pre-determined time before removal. For small areas remove with a clean cloth turning the cloth repeatedly to ‘lift’ the Graffiti away then rinse thoroughly. For larger areas wash down with clean water using an appropriate brush or sponge. Refer to the product data sheets TDS (Technical Data Sheet) and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) available to download above for more information. | |
