Astroflame Blue 60 Fire Rated Frame Foam is a specially formulated expanding foam that, when used in conjunction with Blue 60 fire rated packers (available from the drop-down menu above), gives up to 60 minutes fire protection to timber doorsets without the use of additional mastics or sealants.
Blue 60 PU Foam is a single component, moisture curing, self-expanding, ready to use polyurethane foam with propellants which are completely harmless to the ozone layer.
It has a fire rating of up to 60 minutes in Timber Doorsets configuration. High quality PU foam recommended for sealing applications where fire resistance is required.
Please note: Astroflame Blue 60 Packers MUST be purchased with each box of Astroflame Blue 60 Fire Rated Frame Foam.
As a guide, the manufacturer states based on a 10mm gap 1 x 750ml can of foam should do 3 doors which would require 33 packers of each size per can. So for a box of 12 x 750ml cans of foam we would expect a requirement of approx. 400 x 1mm (Green), 400 x 3mm (White) and 400 x 5mm (Blue) Packers.
